Principle of dust collection
- This is a method to collect dust by migrating and attaching charged
particles (that ¡° + ¡± particles charge to ¡° - ¡± ions by using corona
discharge by high voltage current ) to collecting plate by electric pullout
strength.
Dust collection process in ESP
- Direct current high volt generator ( TR ) corona discharge
- Dust charging by ¡° - ¡± ion discharged from TR of dust contained
in inlet gas.
- By electrostatic pullout strength of charged particles,
migrate to and attach on collection plate that has opposite polarity.
- Falling down of dust attached on collection plate after impacting
plate by rapper
- Collect removed dust in hopper.
- Exhaust collected dust through dust exhaust system.
